The Thanksgiving meeting is here. The Club will provide the turkey,  with Larry Leonardson smoking one bird and baking the other. Bring a dish for the pot luck table to share with the membership -- mashed potatoes, potato salad, garden salad, vegetable dishes, cranberry sauce, lingonberries, baked beans, fruits, or desserts -- would be welcome.  As is customary, the club will provide the coffee, tea, soft drinks, beer and wine.

As always, there is the need to have a raffle at this meeting.  Please consider bringing a baked good or other appropriate item for the drawing.  In addition to being lots of fun, this monthly activity helps keep the books balanced.

Nellie Leonardson will be making a trip to Potomac Mills on Saturday, the day before our meeting. If you would like for her to bring up anything for you from IKEA, please call her as soon as possible at 721-6827.

Hope to see you at the meeting.

When Last We Met

We met and shared good food and fellowship. Bob Olson did an excellent job on the grill providing us with some excellent meat. Of course, all the side dishes provided were excellent as well. The desserts were many and varied, providing us with the opportunity to eat several more than we should have. The nominating committee submitted a slate of officers.
